A courageous- Call Girl !

Image
It took me more than one week to decide, should I write on this or not. The fear of contradicting the so-called "morality" of our society had always pulled me back. The fear that what people will think about me when I will write on such a tabooed topic had been bothering me. But then what's the point of freedom of speech when you cannot even express your opinion. And of course, we live in a democratic country and not a banana nation. We all have heard this word once or more in our life, either through cinema or through friends or may be utilized the service. I am not here to judge anyone, But one thing which clicked in my mind when I think about those girls who provide these services is that how courageous they are. Going to an all-new place with a stranger or sometimes with a group of strangers is not an easy cup. It would make anyone's blood run cold. We all can think of thousands of troubles they might face still, they take the risk to earn their living...

Road Accidents- Worst way to loose life!!

Image
The road rage and accidents is not a thing of amusement to the indian subcontinent. As soon as you step out on the roads with a vehicle or without it, you are prone to an accident. Almost every person living in india must have experienced at least one or more minor or major accidents in their lifetime. And those who haven't shall consider themselves lucky.  The daily CCTV footages and articles about road accidents flooding in the newspapers and news channels are a clear evidence to the same. Statistics show that "approx 16 deaths and 58 injuries occur due to road accidents everyday. Which is equivalent to wiping out 40% of the population of a small country like maldives. The capital- delhi, tops the chart with approx 5 deaths everyday" as shocking as these numbers are more serious is the problem. The causes are numerous. Namely some, the road rage- the reckless and voilent behaviour of the drivers account for a lot of deaths in india. The very prominent example- th...

Fear of the unknown

Image
We all have experienced some kind of fear in life. One such fear is “fear of the unknown “which is an intrinsic characteristic of any human being. Let me share you my recent experience during my solo trip to Alwar(Rajasthan) which made me ponder about it. I started my journey around nine at night and reached Alwar around 11:45 pm. The city is away from the glamorous metropolitan life and was completely deserted. My spontaneous decision to travel didn’t give me the chance to book my hotel in advance so I had to search for my stay after I reached the city. With few failed attempts, I thought to ask some local for the advice. While I was crossing a junction, I came across a young Muslim boy, with ethnic attire and typical cultural looks. I stopped my car and asked for some address. He seemed to be new in the place and politely told me that he is not aware of the local geographies of the place. When I was about to leave the place, he asked me where I was heading towards, ...

Corruption within us

Image
“People stood in a line waiting for the train to arrive; the entire queue was maintained properly. The time the train arrived and the doors were open, everyone had to choose between breaking the line and remaining within the line. In a very short span of time, one has to decide, what is right and what will give them an undue advantage. And here we see most of the individual breaking their line and entering the train.” The point which I am trying to put here is that, when someone doesn’t have an option to get corrupt, he will always feel like he will never be corrupted, but the actual test of a person will be when he has an easy option to do corruption but then also he chose to be uncorrupt. Corruption has become a menace throughout the world. Most of the elections are fought on this agenda still, we see no visible improvement.  Does that mean it is incurable or we might see it in a wrong way? We all are aware of political and economic sphere of corrupt...

Success is relative.

Image
The first thing which comes to my mind when I think about life is a very famous quote by world-famous writer-“All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women are merely players. They have their exits and entrances.” – William Shakespeare Since my childhood, I have always heard lectures about working hard and being successful. There is a never-ending race in everyone’s life for being successful. For someone getting money would be a success, for some grabbing power would be a success or someone longs for a specific profession. Not only it is defined by career path but also people relate it to relationships. For example successful son, successful daughter, successful husband, successful marriage etc. If we talk about time frame than during the early civilization, success was being alive. With time when the human’s lives become little stable than eating good food and living simple lifestyle was a success. During the world wars, defeating the enemy was a success. Sometimes a revoluti...

Depression decoded

Image
“My eyes were wet and my legs were shivering. May be I was taking a wrong step but I wanted to end all these feelings and thoughts which have bothered me since ages. I knew that my decision would hamper life of many but I was helpless at that time. I wanted another chance in life, I wanted to live again, I wanted to smile but there was a chain which was pushing me and led me to take such a drastic step.” Every year 0.8 million people commit suicide worldwide which results into shattering of so many lives which were revolving around them. We all work so much to ease the lifestyle of human civilization but it’s very sad that irrespective of so much advancement in science and technology, we are still losing so many innocent lives. Sometimes it’s very difficult to understand some issue if we oneself are not part of it . The biggest drawback of depression is that it’s very difficult to quantify and the entire diagnosis depends upon the openness of the patient.   There is...
