An Untold Story About Team Dumpin
Sarfraz Khan a student of Delhi University and IIT-Delhi, with his friends Shivendra Singh, Sayeed Afridi, Sagar Bakheta and Abhishek Faujdar started Dumpin Recyclers Private Limited in September 2017 with a vision to transform the waste into an asset. Initially, they started working with the manufacturing units in Noida. They collected the corrugated box waste, segregated it into different qualities and forwarded it for recycling. They have conducted various awareness programs in Noida and East Delhi to create awareness among the people about the existing waste management system and how it can be improved to create a Zero Waste Generating Society. They also have conducted a clean drive partnering IUCN( International Union For Conserving Nature) and ONGC near Okhla Bird Sanctuary to create awareness about the Riverine Plastic Waste Problems. They have given a presentation at ONGC, Vasant Kunj Campus on Solutions to Tackle the Plastic Waste in the Marine Ecosystem.
